Biographical Information

Yulong Tang received his Master degree in 2005 in School of Information and Optoelectronic Science and Engineering, South China Normal University; In 2008 he received Ph.D. degree in Shanghai Institute of Optical and Fine Mechanics (SIOM); Between 2008 and 2011 he mainly conducted research on mid-infrared solid-state laser technology in SIOM; since July, 2011, he has been worked in laboratory for laser plasmas, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and he mainly focuses on research on mid-infrared high power solid-state laser technology.

 

Research field

Mainly conducted the research on mid-infrared solid-state laser technology including the generation and amplification of mid-infrared laser, laser beam shaping and mode control and laser pulse dynamics, etc. The research result are mainly applied in mid-infrared laser detect, laser processing and laser medicine, etc. The current research are mainly focused on mid-infrared high power fiber laser system.

 

Achievement (Selected publications)

More than 20 SCI papers have been published recently years; held 2 invention patents. As primary researcher, responsible for one national project, one Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai project, and participated parts of national research project.
